NATURE AND OBJECTIVES (HISTORY) 
The College of the Immaculate Conception, in their pastoral objectives, seeks "to educate men and women aware, compassionate, competent, able to work by building up the kingdom of heaven, from the particular situation in which they live." Such a goal requires a complete and thorough training of the human person, an educational process that attempts to excellence, and for this then determine priorities, plan experience and training criteria are privileged.
Since 2011, the College of the Immaculate Conception in the plan include teaching the "Service Learning". With this experience is taking the intention that students can learn - values - by serving the needy.
The option for this form of learning is made according to the search for excellence, knowing that while the pursuit of academic excellence is typical of a Jesuit school, but only in the broader context of human excellence.
The objectives of the "service learning" are:- be aware that sections of humanity are sometimes not taken into account: children, the elderly, the sick, the needy.
- value the God-given and family
- be sensitive to every need
- formed in the ability to creatively improving our society including the needs of others as part of personal projects.
